Jessica enters the fight game after Harry McGraw lists her as the manager for a fighter whose contract he has inherited. When unscrupulous fight promoter Wade Talmadge is killed with a bullet from Harry's gun, Jessica must solve the murder, clear Harry and help get her boxer ready for a fight. Along the way, she must again deal with Boston's hard-nosed Lt. Casey, who had previously complicated a case Harry and Jessica had investigated the year before. |
